Upload Form

Preparing Your File

We make it easy for you to upload your files through our website portal. In order to ensure proper file transfer we recommend reading a few reminders. If you need help in preparing the file, just call our helpful staff and we’ll try our best to provide the solution you need. By creating a secured file will save you time and money. We are happy to pre-flight your file in advance of placing your order to check compatibility issues. We recommend that files are “Stuffed” (Mac) or “Zipped” (PC) before uploading to ensure file integrity.

Mac

Zip files by highlighting the folder containing all of the files, right clicking and selecting Compress “FolderName”. This will create a .zip file containing all the files within the original folder.

Windows 10

Right click the file or folder, point to Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder. This will create a .zip file containing all the files within the original folder.

Windows XP

Right-click a blank area on the desktop or in an open folder, point to New, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder. Then drag and drop all of your project files into the Compressed folder.

Print Resolution Bleeds & Crop Marks

BLEED

CROP MARKS

When designing digital files intended for both offset & digital printing it is essential that all of the assets are created in high definition.

Ensuring a high quality print job is as simple as making sure all photos and images in your digital files are at least 300 DPI

(Dots Per Inch).

You need to apply a 1/8" bleed when graphic or background goes all the way to the end of the paper to prevent any trim issues.

Lastly, include crop marks with all the files that bleed to show the final page size.

  • Reading for content.
  • Checking for any formatting issues.
  • Proofing for grammar and punctuation.

We recommend that you have someone other than the person responsible for creating your file read everything before you send it to us.

Client approval is required before a job is printed.

That’s why we always ask you to approve your file before it goes to press.

Time spent editing and adjusting files is billable once an order has been submitted.
